Nin is the first Croatian royal town and the birthplace of the Croatian state. The town of Nin is situated in the middle of a shallow sandy lagoon, 17 km north of the city centre of Zadar, and it is well connected with Zadar by the regional road Zadar-Nin- Vir island.

The center of the town of Nin is actually a small islet of rich historical heritage with a diameter of about 500 meters, which is connected to the mainland by two bridges.

Today, Nin is a modern tourist destination full of fun and liveliness, offering all kinds of activities for singles and families, whether it be beautiful sandy beaches or romantic coves. The town exudes a special atmosphere and always has something going on. Guests can visit numerous events, restaurants, taverns, museums and the salt pan, which is an important part of the industry of the town of Nin and the only ecological salt pan on the entire Adriatic.
