Zadar is a Mediterranean town located in the heart of the Adriatic, a city of sun, warm sea, olives, wine, fish, full of both cultural and historical sights. It has been declared the "centre of entertainment on the Adriatic" and the city with the most beautiful sunset. Zadar is an extremely popular tourist spot and is visited all year round.
The cultural heritage of Zadar from ancient times to the present day is of great value, and its rich history is evidenced by its ramparts, protected by UNESCO, numerous monuments and the symbol of the city, the Church of St Donatus. The church can be accessed by the famous Kalelarga road, the heart of our city which has been immortalised in song, and which, through the Roman-era city square known as Forum, built between the 1st century BC and 3rd century AD, emerges onto Zadar's waterfront, where the city’s two biggest modern attractions can be found - Greeting to the Sun and the Sea Organ.

The new, modern motorway A-1 Zagreb-Split is connected to the European road network. Getting to Zadar is very simple and fast - the drive from Zagreb to Zadar takes just over two hours. Also, lovers of nature and beautiful landscapes can also enjoy the scenic roads "Lika Highway" and "Adriatic Highway".
